Misconception of Blog Advertising

A blog, to me, is for fun and easy reading. The latest 'implied' trend seems to think that when a blogger writes about a, say, product, readers are automatially 'influenced' to buy the blogged product. Says WHO??? What made them think that the reader, like me, is not capable of thinking on our own that we blindly 'buy' everything we 'read'? OK, maybe it works on an everyday product like ... shampoo, make up or even food, but an expensive holiday or a stay in a 5 star hotel? PLEASE! I wonder if any of these company did a ROI (return of investment) report to support their 'wise' decision to get a blogger to blog about it ... LOL. Anyway ...
